I've been a user of army builder for more than 2 years now. Great product, and total life saver. But for about 99% of the time, my laptop has become nothing more than a local server for the home network... And to backup/sync my ipad. And to use army builder.... Otherwise we've become a dedicated iPad and ipod household with several of each. All our gaming is done with pads, for scanned versions of the rules and codexes and for PDF versions of the rosters from AB. If there's to be an app... Please consider it my vote for a pad app!!! (Okay, and just add x3 requests more for the other iPad owners in our gaming group too!). Definitely pay for an ipad AB capable app.

I registered on these forums in order to give my support to the IPAD cause!
The IPAD has become gradually indispensable to my daily routine and it would be awesome if I had the opportunity to cover my gaming needs as well through Armybuilder. I would definitely buy the IPAD version if it comes out.So will my 3 friends who also have IPADs! Let's hope that we will get our wishes granted!!! |

Add +1 here! I imagine it being and integrated product, so when you backup your iPad or your PC version of AB it all becomes updated (I have at least one app that do that, but basically is the app who has control over the PC update)

I'll have to put my bid in for Android as I'm posting from my new Xoom!

I just want to say I want an iPad version myself. I would even consider buying a whole new license for an iPad version

Given that so many folks have free "lite" versions of full, paid apps on the iPad, have you guys looked into that model?
Something like a free (or very cheap) viewer app that just loads army lists, and a full version that uses the same data files etc. as the Win/Mac version(s) to create lists. Speaking of the Mac version, how's that coming? |

A "lite" version is something we tried in the past without much success for Army Builder, but we're definitely open to considering it on a tablet. The problem is, doing a "lite" version isn't much less work than doing the actual full application on the tablet. So we'd rather put that effort into doing the tablet application properly in the first place.
We did an update on the mac version in our "State of the Wolf 2011" newsletter: http://wolflair.com/index.php?contex...olf_2011#apple That's all that we have to announce for now. Development progresses |
