Okay, I'm now working through those Terror Monkey mutations. The first one I hit, Large, both moves the size of the Monkey up to 0 from -1 (with the accompanying effect on Toughness) and ups its Bite damage from a d4 to a d6.
Now the first I can just do by having the thing add +1 to Toughness; it might be a little confusing but its probably better than messing around with bootstrapping around another version of Size and hoping it overwrites properly. The question I have is about the damage die though; before I go through it, is there a way to just upgrade the extent weapon die one step (as there is with attributes and skill dice) or do I get to try putting in a second version of Natural Weapon also labelled "Bite" with a later timing and see how it all works out? I thought I remembered something that upped a weapon step somewhere, but I can't find it so maybe I'm imagining it. |

Yes. Look at Martial Arts and Improved Martial Arts and see how they do it.
Evil wins because good rolls poorly .... or the players are not paying enough attention to the game. |

Ah, yeah, that should do it. I thought I'd remembered Martial Arts doing that but misread the Edge when I read it last night. That's what I get for doing things when I'm sleepy.

One thing to take note of is their timing.
Evil wins because good rolls poorly .... or the players are not paying enough attention to the game. |

Yeah, I adjusted it slightly later than the martial arts upgrade, and it seems to work.
