I remember back before v.1.3 came out, Rob talked about a tool that would soon be released to allow users to download whole batches of images for a game system. Did I miss it or has it not been released? If it's on the back burner, you could tie it in with this:

Image viewer suggestion:

I would REALLY like it if you had a seperate app like the deck viewer for viewing card images and only viewing card images. It would be invaluable for all the CMGs I play, and I could see how it would be terribly useful for CCGs also. It could be license only like CV. You could load up a game sytem like CV, then pic whether you wanted to pick a single image out of a list or view all the images from a certain filter set (using CV style filtering,) and it could display an infinite number of images via scrolling down (like you scroll down the card list in CV.) Instead of a small window like the card details window, it could take up the entire screen, and you could display multiple images accross depending on the gamesystem, which would save scrolling time. I know this would take a bit of work up front, but you probably wouldn't have to update it that much, and it would really be INCREDIBLY useful.

It'll be released along with the next version of Card Vault.

How exactly would this be useful? I'm afraid I can't see how such a program
could be used... one thing we've added to the next version of CV is the
ability to resize downloaded images (up to their maximum size - anything
over that just looks bad). Would that be an acceptable solution? If not,
why exactly do you want to just see all the images?

Thanks,

If I'm not describing this right, I'm sorry, but the ability to browse through the images would be VERY useful for collectible games, CMGs especially, but TCGs also. If anyone gets what I'm trying to say, help me out.

You can already do this with Card Vault; just show the card details, switch
to image view, and then hit the << and >> arrow (or just use your up and
down arrow keys if you prefer to be Captain Keyboard like me). How exactly
would your proposed 'image viewer' differ from this??
