Everyone, when you're asking a question, please remember to re-read it after you finish writing it but before you post it. Make sure that it's understandable to others.
Also, please think twice before throwing around large blocks of code. Half the time, they're not necessary in order to answer your question, and even if they are needed, they're always distracting, because they take up so much space in a post. Also remember that others aren't familiar with the system you're implementing - even if they own some of the books for that game, they may not have read them recently, and they're definately not as familiar with the intricacies of the particular thing you're currently working on. You need to explain your problems in context, so that someone who's helping you can understand what goal you're trying to achieve. |
