Gear: Snares?

I don't see snares but I may have overlooked them. Are they there and I am just not seeing them?

I found them under Equipment > Gear > Treasure > Snares

Have you never gone into a shop and tried to sell them all the snares that you've found during your travels?

Haven't much played pathfinder yet. and the AP (Legacy of Fire) I played I never encountered a snare.
