Hi,
Is it possible to have a U3 compatible version for Army Builder 3.1c
This will allow us to use army builder on any computer without a laptop just using a USB U3 compatible memory card.
The site www.u3.com provides technical explanation for developpers.

Does this cause problems reagrding licensing ?

Thanks for your answers

After a quick review, I'm pretty sure this would NOT be compatible with our current licensing mechanism. That would entail a completely separate approach to support U3. On their website, they say that a company can get a PROTOTYPE working in a matter of WEEKS. If we have to invest a month or so to make this work, plus whatever additional time is required to adapt our licensing mechanism, then we'd need to be confident that investment would be recouped by the number of new users who would purchase AB to utilize U3. At this point, since I've never heard about U3 previously from any gamers or users, I have to assume the demand doesn't justify the investment - yet. Things may change, in which case we'll re-evaluate the situation at that time. For the moment, though, I don't see U3 as something we'd pursue in the near term.

That being said, I'll keep this in mind for the future and put it on the wish list for AB.

Thanks, Rob
