Just to set expectations, most of us are in the PST (California) time zone, we generally work normal work hours, with the possibility of overtime if we find something late in the process, and there's going to be a lot of things we want to test and perfect before it's released, so most likely afternoon or evening PST.

Hi!

Depending on "How good" the official one will be compared to my homebrew one (and if it makes sense for me to switch from my custom one - which will be quite some work in porting over the Non-SRD-Stuff I did ^^) I might port some of my code back to the official HeroLab module.

I am thinking of:

- Features from my version lacking in the official one (I had some cool features in and
I am pretty sure not all of them are in the official version - this will require of
course that the official version includes the .dat files so I can change them, for some
features the editor probably will not be enough as it needs to change the core implementation to make it work)
- The stuff I did for the Thule campaign setting for Hero Lab (I am pretty sure the
authors won't mind, but I'll ask them, in the case...). Don't have the stuff from
Thule Player Companion in yet, though, only the stuff from the Basic Thule Campaign
Setting.
- Just a shame I cannot provide the Non-SRD-Stuff due to licence issues... I have most
of it implemented...

Anyone knows what the licence status concerning Arcana monthly stuff is? I have quite
some of those implemented in my version of the 5e datafiles...

The special features I have in:

- Optional Rule: Spellpoints
- Optional Rule: Players roll all Saves (calculates the DCs differently)
- Skip all Power Cards which are present in the printed cards of GF9 to reduce the
number of printed sheets
- In Power Displays (Main Sheet and Power Cards) include all Dmg Bonus/Attack Bonus,
even stuff like Flaming Swords and such
- In Power Cards on the "big number" only list the "best weapon option" instead of the
base numbers
- For Stuff like "take spells from other classes", like for the Lore Bard, this is fully
implemented in my version (in 4e Lone Wolf did NOT implement this, not sure if they did
this time ^^ though fairly in 4e they had the big licence issue maybe this is why they
didn't)
- A graphic "list of spell slots" to cross out (also including some other resources like
Mage/Druids Recovery options and some magic item dailies)
- A chooser for campaign, and in character options then only the gods available for this
campaign is listed - also includes possibility for campaign-specific things (I used
this for the implementation of the Thule setting for example)
- Several Houserule races/specs/classes (all can be enabled/disabled in the character
options)
- If multiclass gets two classes who can get spell x it is only listed once and if they
use different caster stats this is handled correctly (but I am pretty sure Lone Wolf
will have THAT done right for the 5e stuff also, and probably in a much cleaner
implementation than the hacky one I did - my implementation makes it pretty tricky
to add a new class to the datafiles - new spec is easy, though)
- Important resources are tracked on the printed character sheet (like Ki points or
those points the battlemaster fighter uses)

BTW: Thanks to Lone Wolf for the free 5e files ;-) Just did not come around to dl the Beta
yet... Hope you don't mind that I write here you offered them to me.

Best regards,
MagicSN
