In a game I'm going to be GMing, a player suggested that their character might have a feat allowing them to use their Dexterity bonus for Disable Device instead of Intelligence. I told them it would be fine, then started checking sheets via Hero Lab and realized I wasn't certain how to build that feat. So, using Speed of Thought, I figured a way to do it, so I figured I'd share.
This bonus comes up as being from "Agile Lockpicking" instead of "Attribute", but it's close enough for government work. |

Funny, as soon as you started to describe this, I thought "Sounds vaguely like what was done with Speed of Thought..."

I used that as a template. It has to be marked as a temporary bonus to avoid PL limits. I should have been able to just change the associated attribute, but I couldn't get that to work.
