Between the new version, an error on startup, and some license weirdness (which I've emailed support about--it's trying to treat this update as a reassignment or something), Hero Lab is crashing. I can even get to the menu to remove community content and try to troubleshoot.
The error I'm getting is: The data files could not be loaded due to errors. Hero Lab will now attempt to load them in recovery mode. Once loaded, you can access the editor as normal to correct any errors. The following errors occurred: Syntax error in 'eval' script for Thing 'rCBAshGian' (Eval Script '#1') on line 2 -> Non-existent thing 'raAshDisea' used by script Syntax error in 'eval' script for Thing 'raAP86CurF' (Eval Script '#1') on line 4 -> Non-existent thing 'raXilPlane' used by script Syntax error in 'eval' script for Thing 'rauWWChanS' (Eval Script '#1') on line 4 -> Non-existent thing 'raWinBreaW' used by script Syntax error in 'pre-requisite rule' script for Thing 'tmAP80CadC' on line 1 -> Non-existent thing 'tmZomJuju' referenced by script Syntax error in 'eval' script for Thing 'xRMnkFlrrB' (Eval Script '#2') on line 32 -> Non-existent thing 'fStunAssa' referenced by script Any suggestions? |

If you are in demo mode it means the required packages/licenses the GM Mythic Pack builds on is not going to work.
Once you get your licenses working again the community files will load up again. Is there a way to manually remove them in the interim? I'm not able to get to any of the menus right now, so I don't think I'll be able to resolve the license problem while they're there.

You can also just press "OK" through that initial message as its telling you that because of the error it didn't load any of the .user files. So you won't get any other issues. Otherwise in ProgramData\HeroLab\Data\Pathfinder you will need to find all the files that end in .user, .dat, .str, and .1st and delete them. Correct, after the error the application is crashing when attempting to load a new or existing portfolio. I can't interact with the menus at all.
Is that a Windows path? I'm guessing those files are then in the User Library application support directory on OS X. Are those extensions exclusively used by the community packages, or will that delete all content for Pathfinder? |

Those extensions are used by any addon packags or anyone you created. Otherwise most of the files will start with either COM_ or PFRG_ will be community. Thanks for the help. If anyone ever asks, it appears that the Hero Lab data is kept in the local user library.
