I'd prefer a toolbar too, but an entire toolbar would waste plenty of space after the searchbox. Maybe to the right you could put that thing we want where you can save and load schemes that contain settings, views, filters, etc. If you could easily switch to a new scheme from a drop-down box, that would be VERY useful.

I would also like to see the quick search moved to a "toolbar" on the
main window (and the inventory window).

I don't mind the floating quick search, but it shouldn't have a modal
focus. (for the non-programmers, it should stay "on top" of the current
window, but you should still be able to do things in the main window).

This is arther small in comparison to other suggestions, but the
adrk interface can be hard on the eyes after a while, perhaps a way
to tweak the appearence of the interface would be usefull. Again a
small thing, one that would be nice. Also and I may have missed
this, but a way to keep track of wins and losses for individual
decks that I make and assort in the software. Just a way for me to
know how successdull my decks are and to track which changes make
them better decks. Forgive me if this is already possible as I am
still new, but I don't recall seeing that feature either.

You can switch to solid colors via the Settings menu, which may improve
things a bit. The biggest issue is that some monitors tend to display
colors as very dark compared to other monitors. You might consider
adjusting the brightness/contrast settings on your monitor if its still too
dark, since the colors don't look dark at all on a properly
color-calibrated monitor.

One of these days, we'll release at least one (if not multiple) additional
skins for use with CV. Zillions of other more critical tasks seem to keep
cropping up, though. :-)

There is no way to do this currently. Is this something that others would
find of value???

This is a good idea, but will probably be implemented inteh "checking out
cards" update, where we begint o treat decks as separate entities. In the
meantime, you can use the deck notes (View > Edit Deck Notes) to track W/L
manually.

Why not just record it in the deck notes? I used to do this with my
Mordheim gang in Army Builder, as well as including all important events
such as "Mr Anderson loses a leg in battle against Jim's Skrill Marauders"
or whatever.
