I'm trying to follow the 2nd tutorial for the M&M 3e Editor, where it has you copying and editing a power. I make the changes, click "Test Now". It saves the Data File and tells me Chaos Blast can now be used within Hero Lab, but when I switch to HL, it doesn't appear on the list. However, when I go back to the Editor and select New (Copy), it does appear in the Data File. I can tell that the tutorial was basically copy & pasted from the 2e version. What am I missing? Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.

I assume you've tried exiting and restarting Hero Lab and checking again? Sometimes you need to do that.

Currently Running: Pathfinder Second Edition
Currently Playing:
Pathfinder First Edition, Star Trek Adventures
Former HL Games: D&D 4e & 5e, Mutants & Masterminds 2E & 3E, Savage Worlds

Yes, I tried restarting HL. I also deleted the first data file I created for the tutorial and started over. Same thing happened.

When you copy and paste something, some times it has a source also checked. Open up the editor and go to the bottom of the power and see if it has a source attached to it. if it does you will need to check that source in the Configure character window or you can just uncheck that source in the power in the editor and save and then retest. Not sure if that is your problem or not. When you just do a copy and paste, a lot of the powers have a source they are connected to so the source will come along with the copy and paste. Just a shot in the dark. Hope this helps.
