I am building a Necromancer (Wizard) in Hero Lab.

Specialized School: Necromancy

Opposition Schools: Enchantment, Illumination

However, when I add Necromancy spells to his spell list, they each take up two slots:

Why is that happening? Is this a bug? Or am I doing something wrong?

If you think you may have found a bug, please report it to our automated system. There is a link in a stickied thread at the top of the forums.

And please include more information about your character than is in this report, because when I try adding the Necromancy school and the Enchantment and Illusion opposition schools to a Wizard, and then prepare the Steal Voice spell, it does not take extra slots, so there's something else about your character that is causing this, beyond what you've listed.

This same issue happened to me. The thing we have in common is the Opposition School, "Illumination". I believe the bug will be found where the code is for this school of magic.
