Is there any way to bootstrap a specific feat so that the "Bonus Feats ignore Pre-requisites" checkbox in the Secondary Class Bonus feats is triggered and validation checks get bypassed for that feat?

if you just want to bootstrap a feat ignoring prereqs give it the tag "thing.skipprereq"
If you're talking about selecting from a table it's a bit different. |

the thing.skipprereq works perfectly. Is that a perform.assign function or can it be done in the editor?

in the editor just click the "Tag" button on the bootstrapped feat and enter "thing" in the left box and "skipprerep" in the right.
"thing" is the group and "skipprereq" is the tag. The only reason you'd need to use the assign function would be if you needed to assign it via a script, but that is really rare for that specific tag. |
