Item Lookup

Is there an easy way to look up items that the GM gives you, so you know what data package to buy?

I got "Gloves of the Starry Sky" and I see it comes from "Magic Item Compendium" but I don't see that Data Package available?

That would be because its a D&D item, not a pathfinder item.

ok, so i'm guessing that I will just need to make a custom equipment and track it that way.
