Yes, it's done that way so the lists can be edited without having to go through all of the spells to add a new one. With it done from the Deity end it makes it a lot easier to add a new Deity or change the spells on a Deity's list. Let me got through it again and I'll post how to maintain it.

However if you create a cleric of Scaetha (for example), you cannot choose healing as one of the two optional powers (on top of weaken undead), even though the cleric should have access to the power. it looks like the bootstrap currently makes the signature powers exclusive to the particular deity. |
