Alternate Rule Extravaganza!

Greetings... I've been busy with life changing events (some of you may know of me), but I have returned - kind of.

I'm starting a new campaign and I'm implementing the following rules:
Armor as Damage Reduction, Defense Bonus, Damage Conversion, Action Points, Bell Curve Rolling, Backgrounds, Reputation, Contacts, and Affiliations.

I assume that Damage Conversion, Bell Curve Rolling, Backgrounds, Reputation, Contacts, and Affiliations are best left external to Hero Lab on traditional Pencil and Paper (i.e., Excel and Word).

Action Points are already implemented.

Armor as Damage Reduction and Defense Bonus could all be done ad hoc, but I'd like to implement the rules in a more automated fashion. I'm using adjustments that you just activate with the goal of auto updating the AC of equipment (and hence the hero) and the Damage Reduction special.

I've started Armor as Damage Reduction, but it isn't cooperating with class-based DR (like Barbarian's). Any help could go a long way, see attached.
