Please Note! We have begun encountering a sporadic server issue that will result in some users being unable to retrieve updates and/or activate licenses. We're actively working to rectify the problem and hope to have it resolved in a matter of hours. We'll let everyone know when we have the problem resolved.
Our apologies for the inconvenience and appreciate everyone's patience as we get this sorted out! |

Everything should now be up and running properly again. Please yell if there are still problems you're encountering.

I'm having problems....
Can't check for updates as the - i quote - "Revocation information" for your servers security certificate can't be found... I can view you certificate, install it locally, do everything but see the information that the program is checking for. This prevents a connection to the update servers.....help! (please!) |

Hi Fantasticmrfox,
We've had a handful of users run into that error, but we have no idea why. It works great for 99.99% of our users, and our certificate is valid and up to date. However, some people get the error regardless. I don't know if it's a windows thing, or an ISP thing, or some other issue. Here's the method I've found for suppressing the error: - Close Army Builder and open Internet Explorer. - From the Tools menu, select Internet Options to display the Internet Options dialog. - Click on the Advanced tab. - Scroll down to the Security section. - Uncheck the Check for server certificate revocation box. - Click on the OK button. - Close all Internet Explorer browsers before retrying. This should let you access the updates for Army Builder appropriately. |

Unfortunately the settings in IE apply to all the standard windows internet functions. You shouldn't need to install anything - just fire up IE in windows 8 and change the settings, then quit, and you should be fine.
