Hello,
I agree that you should be able to carry weapons that are not used, however why does the unit option disable all other weapon choices as soon as I've picked two? For example, if I select 2 hammers then I can't select the free dagger that most models get, I.E. it looks like I'm limited to what I can actually hold in each hand. There appears to be no provision for weapons carried elsewhere on my model. I'm okay with noting down which weapons I'm using in actual HtH versus carried , however, I haven't figured out how to do that so far. How do I select more than 2 weapons? Onto a different warband. I was working on a Sisters of Sigmar warband and noticed that the Sigmarite Hammer didn't mention the STR+1 that it gives the user. Just so that this doesn't sound like a b*!%ch session, I AM very impressed with the completeness of the datafiles and while entering my warbands have learned several rule interpretations where I was obviously incorrect. Um... no... A double handed weapon is a weapon class all of it's own. Double Handed Swords, Axes, Clubs, etc. all work the same way - you get +2 Strength but strike last. If you choose, for example, a Sword and a Double-handed weapon, you have a Sword (which can parry) and a Double Handed Weapon of some sort (which gives you +2S and strikes last), you can choose which to use. -- Colen 'Not Colin' McAlister | License to Skrill Email: demandred@skrill.org | Visit http://www.skrill.org/ today! -----------------------------+------------------------------------ "Dovie'andi se tovya sagain" - Robert Jordan's Wheel Of Time ------------------------------------------------------------------------ To unsubscribe from this group, email armybuilder-unsubscribe@egroups.com ------------------------------------------------------------------------ -- Talk to your group with your own voice! -- http://www.egroups.com/VoiceChatPage...rmybuilder&m=1 |

I see now. I had assumed that when you select double-handed it modified
the original item, i.e. if you wanted a double-handed Axe you paid 20 gold(5 for the axe plus 15 to make it double-handed). This item would then have the special rules of both the axe and double-handed. >From what you just said below, a double-handed axe and a double-handed sword are identical(they use doublehanded special rules only) and both cost 15 gold. Hello,
Thanks for the education on double handed weapons. Got another one for you. I think I found a missing feature on the Reiklander Captain. The other warbands I've created gave the Captain a gold and wyrdstone unit item so I could track left over gold and unsold wyrdstone. I can't seem to find those on the Reiklander Captain. I checked all the other warband captains and they look okay. Not to nit-pick and I am sure it has been mentioned (somewhere) but the
