I've had a weird thing going on since "The Grande Temple of Jing" (which I did not purchase) came out, wherein it is automatically activated on every portfolio when I open them, regardless of whether their settings were my default or not. Open a years-old character, bam, Grande Temple of Jing is on there now. It's not a colossal issue, but I'm getting REAL tired of having to go in and remove the thing every time I open an old character portfolio. Anyone else having this issue?

Yes - it drives me crazy too.
It happens automatically every time there's a HL update that includes new adventures/packages. The only thing you can do is go in and remove the sources. |

The thing I find strange is that a package you did not purchase is activated on your portfolios.

Same thing here. It drives me crazy scrolling to find the box to uncheck.

Guys this is how HL for Pathfinder has always worked. ALWAYS.
And I agree I HATE this feature with a passion as it is constantly turning on new books for my old characters. The reason this exists though is to help out gamers who do not understand how to go into "Configure Your Hero" settings and turn on the new book they purchased. Then they send "nasty" emails to Support because LW stole their money and they don't have the book. Or for people that "re-build" the whole character to get the new book turned on. Sigh... All because they don't know how to press "CTRL-K". Ug! Grande Temple of Jing is the first and only time this has happened to me with a Third-Party product, and I've had Hero Lab for Pathfinder since 2009.

In my case at least, I've unchecked this product a couple dozen times now. I removed the package from my defaults on day one, but I still have to deselect it every time I open an old portfolio. Doing it once is fine. Having to remember to do it every time I open an old character is the problem.
