Both options provide upgrades to items - traits, additional/free upgrade slots and the like - that I would assume can be seen and configured in HLO.
Where do I add or assign my prototype, both for weapons and armor? |

A quick update... once I added weapons, the option to select one as the prototype appeared.
But now when I select Mechanic options, like activating Superior Firepower or selecting a trait with advanced customization, the improvements don't show up on that weapon. Any advice? |
