Changing Charges on Looted Rings

Looted a ring of the ram with 17 charges. When I add it to inventory, I cannot see any way to adjust the charges on it (like you can with wands). Even on the in-play tab, when I change the charges, it does not reflect on the character sheet.

Any suggestions?

The only suggestion I have for you would be add and equip the normal ring of the ram to your character, and then "use" 33 charges on the In-Play tab so that 17 charges remain.

Yeah...tried that as well... Still shows 50 charges..
