Now that the lastest version of the d20 data files includes support for d20 Pro, I have a basic question: what the heck is d20 Pro? I understand that it's a virtual tabletop, but is there anything I need to know beyond that? Is it separate from Lone Wolf Developments, and would it accept variant data files if they were posted?

And how does it compare to Maptool (which is free)
Would it be possible to have Hero Builder have a maptool token file be available as a possible output? |

If you have questions about d20Pro, the best place to get them answered would be their forums, on http://www.d20pro.com/. d20Pro is developed by MindGene, who are a separate company from us.
At this point I believe it only accepts the core SRD classes, but other custom stuff like feats works fine. I've not used Maptool seriously enough to do a comparison on both products, unfortunately. That'd be something you'd be better asking the d20pro guys. We are considering adding maptool token file output at some point in the future. |
