I am building an adept character and when I select Improved Ability it will not allow me to select any Social skills for improvement... all other skills, including some I have in groups are selectable.
Any ideas? |

Improved ability is only allowed for skills from certain categories: Combat, Physical, Social, Technical, or Vehicle

Right, and Negotiation being a Social skill should be improvable... but it is not selectable in the drop down.

That's a bug that you should probably report via the Bug-Reporting Form, bmacvicar.
And I agree, unlike the Enhanced Accuracy power that I thought was a bug but turned out to be me misreading the power in the rulebook (HeroLab got it right), Improved Ability definitely should permit the improvement of social skills. |

Already reported... working around it for now by spending more skill points in social skills and using Improve Ability to raise the other ones.
