I wonder if I am making the wrong assumptions...
I've been busy adding info in topics and articles and what-not in straightforward batches, but now I need to use filtering and realised that, 1) whenever I add two tags to the scope filtering, no topic appears although... 1.1) if the first tag is used, topics A and B appear 1.2) if the second is used, topics B and C appear 1.3) This holds true with two tags from the same domain or different. If I use the Custom Search (text and/or tags) it always works, though. So, is it impossible to use more than two tags with the scope filter? |

Sounds like a bug to me. I'd expect it to give you all Topics/Articles that have both tags.

I can't repeat this problem.
For example, I just did a tag filter to find cantrips that take one action to cast and it worked as expected. Here are my steps:

Oops! Reading Comprehension fail. Custom search works.
I tried with the "Scope Filter Dialog", select the same tags and...nothing appeared! So, yes, same issue here. BTW, what is the purpose of the Scope Filter Dialog versus the custom filter dialog? The only difference seems to be that scope filtering is limited to tags, but can be applied across all tabs. |
