Just updated to the latest build.

Loaded my realm and was navigating previously entered data, then encountered a crash to desktop.

Tried to access RW again, the program loaded ok, but accessing my realm results in a crash, which I cant seem to get past.

Have sent the error report (twice) for you to look in to this...hope it helps

Jaynay

*edit* - Tried both online and offline - same crash on both.

Error message reads as follows:

Value cannot be null
Parameter name: key

Save off a copy of the file Prefernces.xml in your RealmWorks folder, then delete it (or just re-name the one you have).

That file stores what you were last looking it, so when RealmWorks starts up, it tries to go back there. If there's a problem, it may keep happening because of that.

Disclaimer: This will lose all your "Don't show this message again" settings, and things like how you prefer the UI to look. But, it might at least let you get back into the program.

Possibly. The text of Jaynay27's error message reads (to me, an outsider not working for LoneWolf) like an error from inside RealmWorks after it starts.. that *could* be helped by removing/ renaming the Preferences.xml file so the program starts with a clean slate.

If you are not seeing the same error message.. if your startup is not getting far enough to even have a Preferences.xml file, then that's likely to be a different issue.

To be clear, the Preferences.xml is in the same folder as your MASTER.realm file (which contains all of the data); if you don't see the realm file, you may be looking in the wrong folder.

Or, if you want to type less: "%APPDATA%\LWD Technology, Inc\Realm Works" (and yes, you can paste that into the Explorer window path box and it will do the right thing).

Tank you, found it.

That was not the problem do. I still get an error message:

Objectif mustang be à robot ("C\") or a drive letter ("C")

The preference file is not recreated so the start process is not getting to that point before the crack...

Got back to RealmWorks_0_9_101_133 for now, it work fine.

I use parallels on a Mac, maybe the new version dislike the way it merge the mac and windows documents folder ?
