This is a very basic question. In creating/updating a cleric character, how do I select a sub-domain? I'm not seeing it anywhere, including in the editor. I only have the Core package, so if sub-domains are something that only comes with Advanced Player's Guide or something, I understand, but usually I can still find that stuff in the editor. Am I being a total noob? Thanks!

Subdomains are the same type of thing as regular Domains, and created on the same tab in the editor. There is a checkbox to mark a domain as a subdomain and a tag button to define what it's parent domain is.

Hmm ... so my cleric has the Liberation domain, but I'm not seeing either Freedom or Revolution as sub-domain choices, either in HL or in the editor. Well, I guess I know how to create them now.

If you don't have the package those subdomains are from you won't be able to see them.

OK - now I see those are from APG. I didn't catch that before. Anyway, after your pointer, it was easy to create the Freedom subdomain and Liberty's Blessing special ability, so I think I'm good to go (re-creating the Spivey NPC from Jade Regent).
