When I have tried to export a hero from an existing portfolio, I get the initial selection screen, but then I never get the window that allows me to determine the new file name and location.

I have tried this with multiple pathfinder portfolios.

Macbook Pro (2.2 Ghz i7)
8 GB RAM
Mac OS X 10.7.3
Hero Lab 3.9f

This appears to be working fine for me. Does the problem still occur if you quit Hero Lab and restart your computer? Does it happen if you export a single hero, or more than one hero?

The problem persists through a restart and after repairing disk permissions.

It fails to show the OS file browser window irrespective of the number of characters to be exported.

Does the problem only happen for one game system, or in multiple games (if you're licensed for more than one)?

Please load HL 3.6g and do the following:

1) Go to Tools -> Diagnostics -> Enable Debug Tracing
2) Restart Hero Lab
3) Try exporting again
4) Go to Tools -> Explore Folders -> Program Data Folder. A Finder window should open, and there should be a "HeroLab.log" file in it.
5) Email me the HeroLab.log file to me at colen@wolflair.com - it should provide debug information which will hopefully help me identify and fix the problem.

Thanks.

Definitely happens in MM3 as well as Pathfinder.

I'll create that debug trace now.
