Spent some decent amount of time searching but couldn't find what I was looking for regarding this - so I figured I'd ask here before I got into a ... *cough* neat-ish script.

Say I'm trying to add an item that has the wonderful following line...

+1 Effective Rogue Level (+5 hp, +1 BAB, +1 saves, treat as 1 level higher for determining the effects of all class-related abilities[e.g. improved uncanny dodge, rogue talent abilities, trap sense, etc.] or overall character level)

Is there a nice easy way to pop an extra effective level into the top level of the rogue class - I am aware that abilities have an effective level - and I could add the BAB/HP/saves etc. (and account for rogue vs unchained also.. bleh) - I was just hoping there was a way to do it from the top down.

Why not just add another level to the character?

LOL because sometimes you get lost in the weeds. That's easy enough to do.
