Spent some decent amount of time searching but couldn't find what I was looking for regarding this - so I figured I'd ask here before I got into a ... *cough* neat-ish script.
Say I'm trying to add an item that has the wonderful following line... +1 Effective Rogue Level (+5 hp, +1 BAB, +1 saves, treat as 1 level higher for determining the effects of all class-related abilities[e.g. improved uncanny dodge, rogue talent abilities, trap sense, etc.] or overall character level) Is there a nice easy way to pop an extra effective level into the top level of the rogue class - I am aware that abilities have an effective level - and I could add the BAB/HP/saves etc. (and account for rogue vs unchained also.. bleh) - I was just hoping there was a way to do it from the top down. |

Why not just add another level to the character?

LOL because sometimes you get lost in the weeds. That's easy enough to do.
