I don't think I can do this, but I thought I would ask.

I have a class ability that give proficiency in a chosen weapon. That all fine. But after that weapon is chosen can you change the user chosen weapon to a different weapon and be proficient in both weapons? I know once you move from the user chosen weapon you lose the tag assigned. So is there a way to add a permanent tag to what is chosen? That way I could loop and look for the tag and make all weapons tagged proficient.

You can handle this, but not in the manner you describe. Bootstrap the class special once at each level that you can choose a proficiency, and have each copy choose it's own weapon.

Yea, that's what I did. It works, just wondering, but I didn't think you could add a tag like that. Thank you!
