Adept Spell

How does this work?

I can add it via advances but I cannot add a spell associated with it.
If I add a spell via advances it does not associate with the adept power and there seems no way to associate a spell to the power.

anyone?

Use the Unlock button on the Advances tab to return to character creation, choose the spell, and then re-lock the character.
