Hi all,

just got a curious mail which told me, that...

"This is a courtesy reminder that your Realm Works® license will be expiring in just 0 days. Should your license be allowed to lapse, your data will remain safe, but access to it will become limited. You can easily renew your license or setup automatic renewal via the link below..."

Up until 5 minutes ago I wasn´t even aware, that I do have to renew my license - and I hadn´t for the past years.

When I tried to log in (following the given link), I was told, that no user (same as I´m logged in here) even doesn´t exist.

What do I have to do "in just 0 days"?!

Regards
Robin

I didn't click on anything in that e-mail, because my gut reaction was to assume it's a phishing attempt. Especially given that it came with an unexplained attachment (with a vague "noname" no less).

I came straight to these forums... but didn't see any messages about it yet. Glad I am not the only one getting them. The link goes to sales.lonewolfdevel.com. Not sure if that is legit or not.

Heaps of people on the Facebook Group talking about it also.

It feels like a test email gone wrong to be honest. I hope they don't think sending out an email warning at 0 days should be part of the planned workflow lol. They don't appear to have the system in place to renew the license yet either.

Feels like Rob is probably swearing right about now.

For most of us years have passed without having to pay.

I thought the free 6 months was only for cloud storage? Didn't think the license for the product expired. Didn't think cloud storage was required for using the product in general but needed for the marketplace and sharing content?

If I remember right, they decided to allow people to use cloud storage for free until the marketplace was in place.

Yeah. That's what this is. The Market Place is in place now. The newsletter around the release of the Market Place talked a bit about it. $20 a year for the cloud storage. +
