I am trying to find some help to make a change to an output file for Savage Worlds...Zalor has built a great extended character sheet. It dumps out basically everything you need...I have one question or enhancement but not sure how to do this

1. Is there a way to change the equipment list to display by the container and its contents?
Backpack
Rope(Backpack)
Pouch
Flint and Steel (Pouch)

here is the post where the file is located

Thank you for all the help!!!!

No. No game system in HL currently supports this that I know of. Its asked all the time for Pathfinder, d20 and 5e. I can't see Savage Worlds being any different.

So I have Shadowrun 5th also....they seem to be able to list weapons and all the modification that weapon has? Meaning everything I add to weapon shows under the weapon. Basically grouping it together... Seems like the same principle but maybe I am oversimplifying.

Maybe we could just list the container after each item?

Example Rope (Backpack)

But a weapon with modifications is a Gizmo and is treated as a single Pick by the system. So this makes sense. Just like we can have a +1 Flaming Frost Longsword and it all prints to a character sheet.

But if I move the +1 Flaming Frost Longsword to a backpack it will not let the XML for custom output know its in a "container" (container here referring to the user idea not HL idea of a container).

Yes, sorting the gear that is stored in a container is a separate thing from listing the modifications of an item (like weapons and loaded ammo in Shadowrun).

Each game system will need to be set up individually for this, and this is already a project on our to-do list on all game systems.
