Dear AncientOne,
I use my iPad for most of my character sheet needs while on the road at cons. At Origins I pulled up the HTML sheet in GoodReader (and several other ipad HTML viewers). The sheet renders but many of the elements overlap and are hard to see. The functionality of the controls seems to work fine. I think I'm asking for an option to easily hide and unhide the control menu. I think that might make the elements render correctly. I currently "print" to PDF and can use that on my iPad in any PDF viewer. This would save me a step or two. Thanks, Kizan Me: How bad could it be? Him: What's the worst that could happen? |

Hello,
Fantastic sheet AncientOne! Quick question...For my spell casters, when I change the options on the Spellbook nothing seems to happen. I check the Print Preview and each option seems to be exactly the same. Am I missing something? Thanks! -JTStorm |

I doubt you're missing anything. What browser (and version) are you using? Also, do you mind sending me either your .por file or the generated XML? |

Ah... after looking at your file, I realize that I've done a poor job of communicating the "spellbook layout" feature. It literally only deals with spellbooks, so the feature doesn't apply to sorcerers, clerics, etc. The next version of the sheet will approach this feature a little differently, so it will apply to the other classes as well. |

Or, I could have realized that is was for spellbooks! :-)
Thanks for taking the time to check. I'm looking forward to the next version! |

AncientOne,
Love your custom output. If I could add one quick request--it would be handy to have Prestige and Fame tracked for PFS play. Also, one quick question: I really like the color-coded sheet, but for some reason it doesn't show up when printing, whether printing to paper or saving to PDF. This is on a Mac, if it makes a difference. Thanks! |

The failure to print background colors is a limitation of some browsers (Chrome and Safari, most notably). I've only tested on Windows, but I assume it's the same issue on the Mac. Roger |
