I am intrigued by Realm Works. This really looks like something that can help me a lot. I am usually running two or three games in different systems with different groups.
To date I have used Obsidian Portal as the Cloud source for my players. They have some great features for making information available for players and give a very free hand in terms of styling so you can generally get the look and feel you want, but they do not provide tools for helping generate content, and any linking is done by the person entering and is basically just hyperlinks. For anyone that can answer is this going to be a replacement to using Obsidian Portal in that I can host my campaign so that the players have access to the information or would I need/want a way to output the information to Obsidian Portal? Thanks In Advance. |

A key aspect of Realm Works will be making the material readily available to the players that they've uncovered through the course of play. And to do it without lots of extra effort. So if you're using Realm Works to manage your content, I don't expect you'll have any need for a second tool such as Obsidian Portal for providing content to your players.
Hope this helps! |

That helps, and will help even more when it is available . That is what I was hoping, did not want another place that I needed to update content.
Thanks for the quick reply. |

Weill Realms works have a wiki capability, similar to obsidian portal, or will it require every player to have a copy of realms works? one thing i like about obsidian portal is that the various players dont have to install aditional software on their systems. I have no problem paying more as the DM, but i like the idea of not requiring PCs to install software to use it.
