So I have figured out how to tie a feat to a template and decided to use it in adding Races of the Dragon content. Specifically the feat of Dragonwrought Kobold. Obviously it applies only to a Kobold. It is inherited so it must be selected at 1st level only. The color of the dragon makes a difference to the skill bonus you get as well.
So I have two templates I am testing roght now. Red and Gold. I have a feat for each that call out the template and apply it to the character. So in creating a character when you select the feat, the template pops up in the list for level. Here is the problem, it comes up as level 0 like it should (or maybe it should be level 1) but it changes the current selected level to 0 as well. If I add a second level then that one show up as level 1. Dont get me wrong I like a free level and all but it obviously is not correct. In testing I can select the template seperately and it works fine. I add the template first and then the character level. No problem there. I dont know if its a bug or just that i need to modify something that puts them in order. Chris Bradshaw |

I'm not sure that I understand what the problem you're encountering is. You added a template and it appears as level 0? Can you email me the data file that's causing problems to colen@wolflair.com? That way I can take a look at it and hopefully investigate. Thanks, -- Colen McAlister (colen@wolflair.com) Chief Engineer, Lone Wolf Development http://www.wolflair.com/ |
