I just bought HeroLab at GenCon and so far it's looking good!
I'm trying to add data for Monte Cook's Arcana Evolved. I think HeroLab can support most of what I need --I don't intend to use it durring game sessions but I would like to be able to create characters. AE is an alternate players handbook. It has it's own races, classes, and skills. Ideally I'd like to replace most of the existing data with the data I enter (though some of it is still the same). Right now I'm trying to figure out how to replace the Hide and Move Silently skills with a single skill called Sneak. I've created the new skill in the editor, and I told it to replace "kHide". That seems to work. Is there some way I can tell it to replace "Move Silently" as well? Or is there some way I can remove or otherwise hide "Move Silently"? Thanks for the help. I'm sure I'll have more questions as I work through adding this data. martiank9 |

To hide the Move Silently skill, you can add a "hidden" entry - these are described in the authoring kit documentation here: c:/HeroLab/Docs/kit/kit_data.htm#hidden Hope this helps, -- Colen McAlister (colen@wolflair.com) Chief Engineer, Lone Wolf Development http://www.wolflair.com/ |
