A new version of the Mutants & Masterminds Third Edition dataset is now available from the automatic update mechanism within Hero Lab.

This version adds content from the Gadget Guides sourcebook. This adds hundreds of new devices, plus updated mecha rules, and new features for headquarters and vehicles.

Here's the complete change list for this update:

New Releases!
  • Material from Gadget Guides is now available as a new package!

Enhancements & Changes
  • The Fascinate (Expertise) advantage now allows you to specify which Expertise skill you use.
  • The Reaction extra now allows you to define its triggering condtion.

Bug Fixes
  • The second rank of the Dimished Range power flaw gave an incorrect value for long range.
  • Water Walking had an incorrect description for the first rank.
  • The Stacks With modifier was allowing the stacking power to apply its effects.
  • Devices and arrays taken as under "Devices as Equipment" are now priced correctly.

Great, the Gadget Guide is pretty cool.
From what I can see:
1) it seems that the transposition of the pilot's skills to the mecha is wrong.
2) You can not select the mecha's weapons (or vehicle) with the pilots's Close Combat/Ranged Combat Skills
3) the Summonable Features add a +1/+2 to the equipment cost, in addition to double the cost of the equipment advantage

I noticed that the power of morph on the Mecha power list doesn't have Metamorph to make transformable mecha? Anyone know how to fix it? Also, mecha have a features list like vehicles. Will this be added in a later update or should I just use the Features power?

The Growth power is broken now. It adds +1 STR for levels 1-3 of Growth, then at 4 resets the Growth modifier to 0, and so on (so +1 STR at 5,9,etc)

I got a message saying that growth would be fixed on the next update. I hope they also fix the Morph power for the Mecha.
