When trying to work without a internet connection I can't even load the program as always needs to connect to the server to register the program.
It does this each time I load the program. This is a big downside as where I run my games I don't have net access so can't access anything. |

I thought it was because of multiple activations, do you run RW on several computers ?
Try my workaround : launch your PC where you've got a connection, launch RW, re-activate it, then put your PC in sleep mode. That's what I do to play away from an internet connection. |

No only the one activation on the laptop.
Had seen your thread and tried that but will need to use it for planning games while away for work with at least a fortnight of no net access and can't keep it on or in sleep mode that long so looking for good fix. |

Version 125 had this problem, that's the same problem I had at one time. Version 126 doesn't have this issue. Are you running the right version?

This happened to me as well when i tried to open RealmWorks with no internet.
If I already have it open I can run fine without a connection. |

I just did some testing. It works fine if you have an active wireless adapter but aren't connected to a network. It give the error that wildfire142 mentions if you don't have an active wireless adapter or a wired connection. I attached a picture of the error.

As I mentioned in a separate thread on what seems to be the same subject, there appears to be an issue with certain laptops doing something that is completely different from anything we expected or have seen in all of our tests. If my theory is correct, those laptops are going to be a major problem to handle appropriately.

Try disabling your wireless adapter on the laptops you are testing with to see if you can recreate the issue.
