Hey guys it has been some years since I last played and I am looking to get back into the game. I used army builder years ago and bought the new version recently. I am having problems hopefully someone can clear it up for me.
I need to know what I am doing wrong. I created a 2K point tau army under normal mission and I get these two validation messages stating 'composition requirements not satisfied . Valid range 1-0'. And 'ruleset normal mission is invalid for current settings'. (for example I put 1 HQ and two firewarrior groups. Same message for basic build).
What does this mean? I am following the 6th edition book rules, but at a loss how to address this for army builder?
Thank you

I think you must have at least a couple of the Roster Options selected in the Change Roster Settings dialog.

Planetstrike is the only Roster Option that I could find that invalidated the Normal Mission scenario, instead requiring either the Planetstrike - Attacker or Planetstrike - Defender scenario.

I'm guessing the other validation error comes from having the Spearhead Roster Option checked but it seems that part of the validation error message is missing in your post.

Please check those settings and let me know if that doesn't help.

And of course, I reserve the right to be corrected by folks who know more than me!
