Well, the good news is, the Ork and Tyranid ab files are done for 2nd
edition (this after a hideous mistake where I erased the Ork files and had to rebuild them). My friend, j3000w, is trying to post the exported file on his website, but he says that Yahoo doesn't like it (he's on geocities, I'm assuming by this cryptic comment that something about the file is not allowing him to post it). Apparently, the problem seems to be the "ab" extension itself as he asked if he could change it (to which I replied 'no'). Anybody have any ideas on how to correct this so that he can put the file up for download on his site? -------------------------- eGroups Sponsor -------------------------~-~> Dial 1-800-555-TELL -- You Won't Believe Your Ears! You could just export it as a .zip file, which would be suboptimal but would work properly with Yahoo (imbeciles that they are). Or you could just upload the .ab file to the ab-files eGroup, which I'm sure all the people who email me saying "do u have and 2nd ed fileZ?" would appreciate -- 'Not Colin' McAlister - License to Skrill Email: demandred@skrill.org | Visit http://www.skrill.org/ today! -----------------------------+------------------------------------ "Dovie'andi se tovya sagain" - Robert Jordan's Wheel Of Time -------------------------- eGroups Sponsor -------------------------~-~> Restaurants, Movies, Weather, Traffic & More! Some hosts won't allow files with certain extensions on their sites... which
seems kind of silly to me, but anyway, he can upload the file to the site with a different extension at the end, and a note on the page saying to change the extension to .ab when downloading the file. Or find a more accomidating host. Fred www.mp3.com/novoid -------------------------- eGroups Sponsor -------------------------~-~> Restaurants, Movies, Weather, Traffic & More! Call 1-800-555-TELL.
