I do hope that HL will continue investing in HLC. I must say that since HLO I sense that there wont be any further development in new materials to the HLC, and thus, I am looking for another software. thanks for 15 years of fun playing, but it seems our paths must separate.
Ditto. I don't need yet another subscription in my life. I have purchased every package save the encounter ones because it's one and done.

Everything is effectively a subscription now, cell phones, cable tv, netflix could argue car payment/house payment/rent/insurance are too, don't pay you then you lose access. $25/year would be the cheapest subscription that I would have too. They haven't started the clock on the subscription charges yet so for now it doesn't have one.

HLC is a fantastic product, and HLO is looking good so far. LWD does a good job and I expect that HLC will pale in comparison to HLO feature wise in the future.

I subscribe to the AP, Pawns and PFRPG at Paizo, probably will cancel the PFRPG one.
Don't worry once Hero Lab Online starts the money will be flowing in. It should have them making 2 to 3 times as much as before. I personally have no plans to buy/pay for HLOnline it will not work for me. Psst most RPG games are played in basements where signals are poor, or in our case close to zero.

My main switch is in my basement. Are you saying that you haven't installed your own network wiring in your home?

How much is PF2 on HLO likely to cost, both in terms of one-off costs and recurring costs, assuming I buy every Paizo data package and perhaps one or two others (as I have done to date with PF1)?

I've spent a lot of money on PF1/HLC. Am I likely now to be having to spend that every year with PF2/HLO?

It's a $35 charge to sign up for HLO. That charge currently includes access to the current state of Pathfinder 2, and a subscription until next February.

What has been stated in the past is that after that, it's going to be nominal subscription charge. You will still have to purchase additional data packages, however, whatever data packages will eventually exist in both HLO and HLC, if you buy it once, you have access to it in both. This will be retroactive. So if you currently have Pathfinder for HLC, you will have access to it in HLO for no additional charge, if and when it's released for HLO.

All this is with the caveat that things aren't official until their official, but that's what's been stated as the plan.

Although after you buy your first game system in HLO, then subsequent game systems are only $25.

Are the various additional packages cheaper with the new server charges having a main cash flow for the company, or is it the same as before, with an added expense, for the Online product?
