Hey folks,

First time user, long time listener...

I have a player who would like to play a Magus Arcana in my current game. I'm completely new to the hero editor. I've read that you can either manually add custom classes like this through the hero editor or you can load up a pre-made character of this class. In the interest of time and not messing up, I was wondering if there was a place where I could download character class templates for things like this.

Any advice is appreciated.

Best,

Alghaster

If you mean the magus class, that is available either as part of a class pack, or the ultimate magic book (depending on which entry path you're using). If you like, there is also a built in editor if you wanted to add your own stuff, though it has a bit of a learning curve. To my knowledge, there aren't files out there with reproductions of our content which people share, and obviously we'd frown on that. There is, however, a vibrant set of community made files covering other stuff you might want to look at.

Anyway, hope you enjoy the program and feel free to post further questions to the forums!

Quick tid bit: If you use the editor the simplest way to edit any class is through the Class:Archetype tab as you can make the changes needed to classes that are coded by LW and others with ease. Bit harder making your own class from the ground up or even by duplication as some "things" in the class tend to break when one does that.
