Yojimbo and Sash of the War Champion

I'm looking at the Yojimbo's Armor Expertise feature. It indicates that it is treated as armor training with the Samurai levels treated as fighter levels, albeit for one type of armor. The Sash of the War Champion should enhance the Armor Training feature of this class just like the fighter. Unfortunately, it does not.

Is the sash's inability to work with the Yojimbo class feature deliberate or is it a bug?

It could be either. Better to submit this as a bug so that LW can take a look, and fix it if necessary. The developers don't look at forums regularly to find things to fix/update.
