Hello All.
I am new to these forums and new to Hero Lab. I am particularly interested in using it for Mutants and Masterminds, but I am not EXACTLY sure about a couple of things. If this is the wrong place to ask those questions, please forgive me and perhaps direct me to the right one. So, I order what seems to be the basic program and that costs 30 bucks - wunderbar. Now, with that 30 bucks, do I order stuff to handle Mutants and Masterminds' core rules SEPARATELY or does it come with the basic package? I know to get the expansion stuff its another 20 bob, that's fine, but I am not sure about the core rules. Can someone help me with that? Thanks a lot guys. |

Buried in the middle of the Product Details page:
"The suggested retail price is $29.99 for either format. That price includes support for one game system of your choice. (Access to additional game systems, as well as supplemental material for some game systems, can be readily obtained at an additional cost.)" So you get one set of core rules with your initial purchase. Currently Running: Pathfinder Second Edition Currently Playing: Pathfinder First Edition, Star Trek Adventures Former HL Games: D&D 4e & 5e, Mutants & Masterminds 2E & 3E, Savage Worlds |

Basically the 30 bucks lets you have either M&M D20 or WoD core rules (I believe WoD get vampire or one of the other systems when they come out ((changeling, werewolf)) as well as straight WoD) anything else is bought separately. To use the authoring kit, you have to buy that as well.

The authoring kit is available as an option for the free game system you get with the purchase, so Authoring Kit (including savage worlds), d20, M&M, or WoD.

As other posters have stated, you get Hero Lab and one game for your $30. -- Colen McAlister, colen@wolflair.com |
