I am a bit confused. What should Ranged Touch Attack be based on? HL seems to base it on my STR mod, but everyone at my table and 3 GMs have told me it's based on DEX mod... In HL, I have a +3 Dex and -1 STR mods. The Basics column shows my BAB = +1, Melee = +1, Ranged = +4. But, my Ranged Touch in Weapons column shows +0. If I just bump up STR, I can see Ranged Touch go up...

So, is HL correct, or are the people at my table and the GMs correct? What is the calculation for Ranged Touch?

Thanks!

Range touch attacks should calculate their attack bonus based on your Dex, I'll look into it and see if there is a bug here.

Thanks Aaron. Not sure it matters, bit I have the Pathfinder Society option checked.

I wish I had read this before I submitted a bug, but it is good to know this is fixed in an upcoming update. Thanks!

Hi,

I got this problem too on Max OSX (latest version). I just downloaded Hero Lab so I'm also running the last version.

Yeah, my bad guys. I fixed this on the Weapons tab (if you look above your weapons you should see the correct totals) but not on the summary tab to the right or on printed character sheets. My apologies, it should be fixed in those two places for our next release later this week.

I don't think it's displayed anywhere else (like in the statblock output), so hopefully that'll put this one to rest.

Just wanted to point out that the little "TouchAttacks.user" addon I made a long long time ago still works.

It also allows for displaying touch/ranged attacks on all character sheets including custom, stat blocks and HL's default sheet. AncientOne's sheet will even correctly set the values for a Magus who is TWF a weapon and "Touch Attack" also. Oh feel the burn LW as your current design can't do that!!!! hehehehe Just j/k around of course. I love HL!
