Interested in helping with the Warmachine files? Please read!

Hi everyone,

We've had some feedback recently that the Warmachine files are out of date, and could use some updates. As you probably know, the data files for Army Builder are maintained by independent volunteers; apparently the original data file author for Warmachine is unavailable, as I haven't received a response to the email I sent him a couple of weeks ago.

So, we're now looking for someone new to take over updates for the Warmachine data files. (We can't do it ourselves because we don't have an official license from Privateer Press for the game, so unfortunately it has to be an independent author who handles it.)

If you're interested, and you have any previous experience working with Army Builder data files, then great! Please email me at colen@wolflair.com.

If you don't have any experience writing data files in Army Builder, I recommend that you play around with the Warmachine data files in ABCreator before emailing me. Alternatively, check out the "ABCreator Tutorial" that you can find in the "Army Builder Authoring Kit" manual (you should be able to find it in the Army Builder program group in the Start menu).

We're happy to help data file authors, or anyone else, who has questions or runs into problems writing data files - we recommend that such questions be posted in the main Army Builder forum, so that other people can read them and be enlightened in the future.
