Absolutely higher standards. When I worked at McD's, they started me on eggs and burgers.

I was commuting about 1 hour both ways, but I've finally fixed that problem. Just moved 10 mins from work. Woot.

The life of a programmer is awesome, otherwise I would never had made that commute for so long. However, I probably would have bailed on a 90 min commute and 10 hour days. I want to think I have some resemblance of a life.

Oh yeah, McD's is freaking disgusting. When I noticed a patty came up still bleeding and pink in the middle, I pointed it out to my manager, and he said to just put it in the warmer, everything was fine.
