I am still working with army builder 2. Is there a way to take a random tweak/item or element? A wizard has to randomly roll for spells. Usually the person prints out the list which has all the spells. In warhammer 3 there are a lot of spells. I think it would be neat to be able to select battle magic and then have no idea what 3 spells you would get. I can not find a random generator. Is there a way to do this?

There is no way to randomly add anything within AB. The technique that is often employed is to list all the spells and then let the players roll them at the table, marking the ones they rolled.

Back in WFB 3ed, there were spell cards that you would draw, so I'm curious why you're not just using the old decks of spell cards and randomly drawing from them.

Thanks Rob. You are thinking of WFB4+. In 3rd edition you rolled a percentile dice to select your spells. There are 15 of each battle magic spell level and 9 each of the specialist spells. There were no cards.
I am back to work tonight and I am just going to allow selection of spell type and level. I have made some improvements in my file creation skills and have to say it is fun and challenging. I just wish I had a better grasp of AB3 because it would be more usable. Maybe next time.
