It's been a grueling process to get everything into place, but we're
finally ready with the initial phase of the Campaign Workbench. Hero
Lab V2.0 is now available for download!

Thank you all for your patience while we crafted this new version.
We've got some screenshots and descriptions on the website covering
the major features of V2.0. You'll find it all at the URL below:
http://www.wolflair.com/index.php?co...b_2.0_features

In addition to tailored version of the Dashboard and Tactical
Console, there are a LOT of cool features in this release for both
the d20 System and World of Darkness game systems. Here's a list of
some of the more important ones:

For d20 System:
* If you add a character portrait for your hero, the portrait is now
included on the character sheet.
* Fully integrated animal companions, familiars, hirelings, etc. are
all implemented as linked heroes.
* More than 100 stock NPCs are now included to instantly import into
your games.
* More than 50 high quality, original character images are available for use.
* Race entries are now in place for all animals and dire animals,
which can be used for animal companions, familiars, mounts, etc.
* All monster feats are now in place.
* Traits and Flaws from the SRD can now be utilized.
* Material from Pathfinder 5-7 has been added, including the Curse of
the Crimson Throne player's guide.

For World of Darkness:
* Complete game mechanics material from the Requiem for Rome
supplement is now included
* More than 50 character images are available for use, consisting of
numerous pieces used in the World of Darkness books from White Wolf
* The estimated XP cost of NPCs is automatically calculated and
displayed so Storytellers can gauge the relative power of NPCs during creation
* An "Animal" character template has been added that allows the
creation of animals for use within games
* All of the antagonists (combatants and animals) from the core
rulebooks are included for instant use as NPCs
* User-created disciplines can now specify a rituals category so
completely new groups of rituals can be added by users for their own
covenants and orders

For the complete run-down of all the new stuff added, please see the
readme file that is installed with the new version. For details on
how to use all the new stuff, please refer to the general Hero Lab
User Manual and the specific game system User Manual for each game.

Thanks, Rob

FYI, there is a new version of the PDF plug-in component that will be needed with HL2.0. Please be sure to download and install it via the Updates mechanism at the same time you grab V2.0. You will be unable to generate PDF output from V2.0 until you install the new PDF plug-in.
